Fun Pictures...

Here are some random pictures of the kiddos over the past few days.

Isabella LOVES to play with my hair accessories, clips, ties, rubber bands, head bands and brushes. Here she is with her shopping cart getting ALL the rubber bands out and putting them in the cart. She'll put them around her arms and legs and I have to bribe her to take them off before the circulation is cut off from her limbs.

She was singing...

Saying CHEESE!! Nice bangs.

OOPS, got caught in Cooper's toy...

I noticed my baby boy has already changed, his face is different.

And, last night this bundle of joy gave me a break. He went to sleep in this swing at 11pm and didn't wake up to eat until 6am...OMG, I loved it! PLEASE baby Cooper, do it again for mommy!

Poor baby's nails are too long, he cut his forehead.

Happy Mother's Day

My children... Happy Mother's Day to ME!

Mother's Day

While we were at my parents house this past weekend, we had the chance to get a picture of all the kids and Michelle and I. It was my mother's only request for Mother's day. Even though we didn't dress for the occasion, the picture turned out pretty good.

Mother's Day Weekend

This past weekend I went to my parents house because Brian had to go out of town. I was there from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. My folks AC unit went out, so we spend most of the day sitting in front of the fans and the kids were all in their diapers. It got pretty hot! Saturday mom, Isabella, Cooper and I all went to see my grandfather and his wife at the nursing home. It is always so nice to see my Pop Paw. He loved seeing Isabella and Cooper. I was glad we made the trip. Isabella sang all the songs she knew to Pop, Elva and anyone else that would listen. She was a real entertainer.

Happy Anniversary to ME!

On Saturday, May 3, 2008 Brian and I celebrated our 5th anniversary. It was not that big of a deal to us, Brian didn't even get around to buying me a card, he's just too busy these days. Not sure if I should be hurt by it or not, but that's the facts. Brian worked for a few hours at a building installing wires and such and I had the kids to myself. Brian's sister and her family come over for a little bit and let the kids play for a bit. Then Brian, Bella and I took showers and we took Isabella out to Adventure Kids to play and Cooper, Brian and I went to dinner. After a very uneventful dinner, we went to Dick's Sporting Goods store and I showed Brian the jogging stroller I was thinking about buying off CraigsList. It looked great and Brian wanted to just go ahead and buy it at Dick's, we had $200 in gift cards, so the stroller only cost us $38. Pretty nice! As we walked out the door with stroller in tow, Brian looked at me and said "happy anniversary". So for my 5th anniversary I got a jogging stroller. Not bad since I really wanted it. Sunday, I took Isabella on a ride around the block in her new stroller, she loved it. She didn't want to stop and go inside. It was great! We were out walking the neighborhood for about 45 minutes.

I really wanted the stroller so i could join one of those stroller fitness classes. I've always wanted to join one, but never had the motivation to do so, but now I'm all set! I can't join a gym until Cooper is 3 months, and I can't start the stroller strides class until I am at least 6 weeks postpartum. So for now, I'll be taking the kids to the park and walking around the neighborhood.
I'm very anxious to get started on a fast track to fitness. I just need to start in the kitchen!

Cooper Michael Corr

Now on to Cooper! Cooper arrived into the world on April 17th at 10:39am. He weighed a whooping 8lb 11oz and is 19.25 inches long.

I had what was suppose to be a non-eventful routine scheduled c-section. Upon Cooper's arrival before the doctor tied my tubes, she was checking things out and noticed a "large mass" on my left ovary. She started to remove the mass and the ovary wouldn't stop bleeding, so she took some more. She left "a little" of my left ovary and said it my grow back (I had no clue those things grew back!). So she took that out and then tied my tubes. We'll find out soon if we should be worried and what comes next. My recovery had been a lot better this time around. I still have a good deal of pain where she took the ovary, it just feels like someone kicked the hell out of my left side. And with Isabella I was a nervous wreak and I didn't want to get out of bed for fear I would hurt the incision. It is much better this time.

Cooper had been a great baby, he nurses well and sleeps well too. He's all around an easy baby (I pray this doesn't change in the coming weeks!)

Isabella is in love with her baby, she is very possessive of him and always wants to hold him...for about 5-8 seconds and then she's done. When he makes noise, she'll come to see what's going on and she likes to watch him get his diaper changed. She's going to be a great big sister.

Here are a few pictures from over the past 5 days.

Major Trey Pittard

Oh wow has my life changed in the past few days. I have a brand new baby boy and a new nephew and my sister has her life. I have so much to say.

First off my sister had her baby boy Major Trey Pittard on Wednesday night at 9:11pm~ish. He weighed in at 7lb 15oz or something like that. He was considered premature, but he's a very healthy baby boy. My sister went through what many pregnant women have nightmares about. She had an awful labor 24 hours~ish and 4 epidurals and feeling much pain through it all. Upon delivery of Major his collar bone was broken and she started loosing a LOT of blood. After her nearly dying (seriously) and 4 blood transfusions later they were able to giver her more comfort and feel that she was in the clear. My mother tells the story and it scares the shit out of me. I almost lost my sister during child birth. I still have not seen my sister or her new baby boy and it will be a very happy reunion for us both. She had to stay in the hospital for 4 or 5 days, depending how you do the math. She was in a world of pain with all they did to stop her from bleeding to death. I just can't get the thought out of my head. We are blessed!

Major's collar bone will heal on its own, he just shouldn't move it (tell a newborn that) and it should be healed in a matter of weeks. He checked out great at his doctors appointment and seems to be on the road to recovery.

Michelle is feeling better from what my mother says. I just can't wait to see her again and hug her. And hold baby Major. Oh, how we are so blessed.

Texas Tornado's

Thursday morning around 4am, here in Allen, Texas an amazing force of wind and/or tornado come blasting through our beautiful neighborhood. From the damage to all the homes here, it seems that our house may have been on the side of the tornado, not in the middle. There are so many, many homes that have major damage and our home did not have very much damage at all. Our roof looks like it is in really great condition, considering all the factors!
Brian and I both took pictures of the neighborhood and here's what we saw.

This is our backyard, nothing was in its place

This is a house that had the 2nd floor framed on it the day before...

This is the front entrance, it was beautiful

Front entrance that did have big builder sign

Drees Model Home

Sotherby Model Home - not even a month old. Brand new!

The Estates side, got hit really hard.
This is the Kitty Hawk Airfield, most if not all hangers were damaged. This plane was in its hanger...

This was a red hanger, with two airplanes inside.

This is common, the chimney is either broken or fallen off the roof with huge holes in the roof.

The front entrance, most of the debris is from the aircraft hangers

Home that backs to the entrance, across the street from the Drees Model home

Another look at the Sotherby Model Home

Our alley neighbors fence, our was just like it. Just sections down.

Across the street from us, both neighbors fences are down

Port A Potty in front yard, this potty was most likely 20+ homes down the street, there is NO construction near this house.

Blue trampoline in front yard, this trampoline was from the folks across the street.

Tonight on the news, the weather center said that Allen did have a tornado. The DFW area had around 6 confirmed now. I completely believe it. When it happened at 4am-ish, I jumped across the bed on top of Brian and we both said "Isabella" at the same time. We ran upstairs and when we opened her bedroom door, she said "Daddy", I was happy she was not scared, and happy she was awake, because we were in for a rocky ride for the night. When we ran upstairs and back down the lighting lit the GREEN skys. It was a wild sight. I am thankful to God that we didn't have any window, structure or roof damage. We very easily could have and should have, bits of our fence were on our patio and next to our bedroom windows. We are so very blessed!!

Dr. Appointment Today

Today I had my last pregnancy doctors appointment. It was a good visit, Brian went with me. Dr. Webster checked me and Cooper is still very high up and and not making any progress. I asked her how much she thought he weighed, she felt around my belly and check her paperwork and said maybe close to 9lbs or bigger. I told her I didn't want to have a toddler, lets just go ahead and get him out!! She sent me for a sonogram and the reason my belly looks so dead gum big is because of all the fluid in there. Which is a great sign. Cooper has tons of room to float and swim around and he's not at all uncomfortable. And once I have the c-section, all the fluid will come out with him!! Woohoo! So the sonogram girl checked all my measurements and Cooper is right on schedule, if he was born today, he would weigh around 7lbs. So they are guessing he'll be around the same as Isabella 7lb 12oz. That is a perfect size baby!

So were still on a go for April 17th. I can't wait, only a few more days and we'll be holding baby Cooper and Isbella can sing her song to him. I'm almost a mother of two!!

Major Pittard

Last Thursday my sister went to the doctor for seeing spots and not feeling well. They took some blood and sent her home to bed for a few day. The blood test showed she was low on some vitamins and so she's now getting what she needs. But her doctor said they would not make her wait past her 38th week. Her original due date was May 17th (ish), then they measured her and moved her due date to May 5th. So now, her 38th week would be April 21st. That is my actual due date. So it looks like Cooper and Major will have the same birthday weekend, and I am not happy at all about it. I choose Cooper's c-section birthday April 17th to not interfere with our niece's birthday on April 11th. I wanted to make sure they were a weekend apart. But now my sister is creeping up on me with Major's birth. UGH! I'm really not happy about it. I love to celebrate birthday's. Isabella has had two fantastic birthday parties and Cooper will too. I love to go all out and invite everyone we know and take time to celebrate right. Even with Brian's birthday we have ALL the family over and make it a great fun weekend. I'm not happy about sharing Cooper and Major's birthday weekend. It just sucks. Enough being selfish, I just had to vent.

Another Wonderful Weekend!

This past weekend was great! Friday, we had our office cabinets installed and they look amazing. They are not stained yet, but will be very soon. I'll post pictures, we are very proud of them! Saturday, Isabella and I hung out at the house for most of the day. She and I played upstairs and I continued organizing baby toys and toddler toys. I spent a good deal of the day, playing, dancing and running around upstairs getting Cooper and Isabella's room all organized. It felt great. After a late lunch, I took Isabella to Adventure Kids to play and I went to the mall and to Target. For the baby shower I got a $100 gift card to MiMi Maternity, so I went to get some nursing bras. You will not believe how big they are. I had to get a 40D!! OMG, when I got married I was wearing a 36C (if that). I had the sweet girl re-measure me, it didn't change. I am so thankful for the gift card. I was able the get 3 bras, that will come in handy for sure! Then at Target, I got some organization bins/shelf thing for Coop's room. When Brian went to get it out of the car, he noticed it was all broken to bits. I was so mad!! He took it back and got a new one on Sunday. I picked up Isabella from AK and headed home. We cooked out and had a nice dinner. Then Sunday we invited all the family over. 12 adults and 8 kids! It was so nice. We love having the family over and just hanging out. My sister and I sat on our butts the whole time, that was challenging to me. This is my house and I'm use to being able to get up and move around and helping myself. But I was in a bit of pain, so I stayed seated. All the kids had a fantastic time, playing hide & go seek, tag, chase, water gun fights, football, sliding and just of course watching a movie in the media room. Gotta love that. Our niece and nephew love to watch movie and would if they could just stay upstairs and watch movies all day. But with all the other kiddos over it was hard for them to stay put. It was an absolutely beautiful day, we had the windows open and we could hear the kids playing outside. I loved it! Isabella kept up with them and really enjoyed her day. I go to the doctor tomorrow and we'll see if I've made an progress. The family seems to think he has dropped, but who knows. I'll post an update tomorrow.

More Random Pictures

I'm trying to grow Isabella's bangs out, she has a baby mullet! Not easy to fix and with her pretty curls in the back, I don't want to whack it all off. So for the past few months she's had her hair in her eyes. Poor thing. We're trying bows and she does good with them, but once she realizes the bow is in her hair, OUT it comes.

Diva baby eating a cookie! We went to the mall after school and her treat was a cookie! She hates her stroller, so we were not there long.

Pretty toes! Easter weekend my sister painted Isabella's toes for the first time! She loved it. So I bought some polish to use on her toes and she was so good and sat still while I painted her toes tonight, she loves her pretty big girl toes.

Checking out the pretty polish!

Random thoughts

I have a few random thoughts that I need to get out so maybe I can sleep better tonight. So here goes...

*I'm ready for the baby to come, I have washed everything he needs when we are in the hospital and when we come home. I'm ready.
*I'm not ready for the baby to come. Still, I'm an emotional wreak and I don't think I can handle two children right now. But I'll manage, right?
*Isabella is at the age where she is so much fun, I hate to damper that with a few weeks of me being out of commission recovering from the c-section.
*Isabella is going to be a fantastic big sister, my concerns are quickly fading away, she loves her baby dolls and sings to them and rocks them, she loves her babies.
*I have recently come in contact with some girlfriends from way back in middle school. I'm so gitty about getting to talk to them and hear how they have been over the past nearly 15 years.
*Brian is working really hard these days, he's always got a project going on, either it is media room involved or something to do with our house.
*Tomorrow our house keeper comes to clean and at the same time, we are having our office cabinets put in, the house is going to be so busy, I hope I get a nap!
*My mom's group is great! I love the moms who are involved and they all really have banded together to help each other and other mother's in the area. I would be lost with out all the great, amazing mother's I have become close to.
*I still need to write thank you cards for the baby shower gifts. EEK!

Contractions...

Tuesday morning I woke up not feeling so hot, but went about my morning. Isabella got up ready for MDO, I made breakfast and her lunch and got her bag ready to go to school. I took her to school and then back home to meet with a lawn guy. Then came inside to lay down. I was having contractions and just needed to rest. My mom was coming over to help put Cooper's new things away and help out for a bit. While I was resting, my friend Patti called to check on me. I mentioned I wasn't feeling the best and my contractions were still pretty strong (imo). She suggested I call my doctor to just inform them of the contractions and see what I should do. I called, they told me to come in for a check up. Mom arrived and met me at the sidewalk. Off we went. The doctor check me and Cooper is still very, very, very high and NOTHING is still NOT happening. I honestly can say, I wasn't surprised, I just needed to hear it. She strapped me to a fetal monitor and we listed to Cooper's heart beat for about 10 minutes. He was bouncing off the "walls" so to say. He was handling the contractions just fine. The contractions I am feeling hurt, are hard and very uncomfortable. But they are still just the practice contractions. That is shocking to me. I just have to push through it and deal with it for now. I have decided I really, really do not want to feel the real contractions. If these hurt as they do, I don't want to know how the real ones feel. Just not interested, thanks though.

So my fantastic doctor sent me home to go straight to bed with a real sleeping pill. She wanted me to rest for the remainder of the day. That sounded wonderful to me. My mom took Isabella home with her so I could sleep in peace. I went to bed around 1:00 pm and woke up around 8:30pm ready to eat, then back to bed around 11:00 pm with another sleeping pill. I finally woke up this morning around 10:ooam. I slept well, but I feel just the same and my body hurts from laying in bed. I did what I was told to do and did get some rest. So I guess it wasn't all that bad.
