Easter Pictures

I know it's a late post, but I wanted to post some pictures of Easter. Isabella really got into it. We went to my parents house for lunch and a quick egg hunt. Then back to Brian's folks house to say hello. It was a long day.

Playing with toy the Easter bunny brought her.
Ready to hunt...
Ready, Set, GO!!!
And they're off!!
Confused as to what to do, but we walked her through the process.
Yummy, Suckers!!
She's getting tired!
Poppy showing her where an egg is.
Found another one.
Checking out her loot!

Random Pictures...

Here are some random pictures from the past few days.

Isabella loves the silverware drawer. She usually brings me a fist full of forks a few times a week. I was in the living room folding laundry and peeked around the corner to see what she was doing. She was standing on a step stool and organizing her spoons and forks. You can see that are all facing the same direction. She's just as anal and her daddy and I.

We usually don't take Isabella to eat out with us, she's just not into sitting and waiting for us to eat. But yesterday we went to Chilli's to grab a quick bite and she did really well. She took the lemon from my drink and started to eat it. When she tasted the lemon, her face was worth a thousand words, but I didn't get that picture! Darn!

This is from last Monday we went to a play date with our friends at a really neat park in Frisco. She loves to swing, she can stay in the swing for hours. In one way that is nice, I don't have to chase her, but in another way not so nice, I had to stand there and push her. It was a beautiful cool spring day!

Baby Shower

Michelle and I had our baby shower yesterday. It was beautiful, fantastic, wonderful and overwhelming! We had a great group of people that attended, it was just perfect. I can't believe all the goodies I received and I feel totally blessed to have so many amazing friends and family!! I tried to look through all Cooper's goodies and organize and make sure I have everything accounted for so I can send out the thank you cards for everything. But between Bella wanting me to play and the contractions I've been having since yesterday morning, I didn't get as organized as I had wished.

Florist

OK, I spent over an hour today searching for a florist in Frisco. I need to find a place to order some flowers to be sent to the home of the hostess of the baby shower tomorrow as a thank you gift for her allowing Michelle and I to have our shower in her beautiful home. I didn't want to just trust the Internet to who I gave my money/order to, I've been burnt in the past and didn't want to spend $75 bucks on carnations. YUCH!! I want a beautiful arrangement and I want it to look like I spent good money on it. So after driving around Frisco (the city where to the shower will be held), I finally got the bright idea to use my GPS. Don't forget I am a natural blonde and my brain doesn't function very well in times of stress! I finally pull up florist on the GPS and the one it takes me to is not open any more. OMG, the next one is in Plano. I drove into Plano and find this beautiful store called Petals a Florist, they made me very happy with what they could do for me. I can't wait to see the arrangement tomorrw.

But my point here is, Frisco does not have any florist. Someone needs to open one, or is there a reason florist don't make it in Frisco??? What's up with that?

Pampered Myself...

Yesterday, while Isabella was in school, I went to my doctors appointment (where I only gained 3 additonal pounds in 3 weeks, not bad!) and then to see my hair stylist, Shelly! I got highlights and a new cut. I love it. I feel better about the way I look, except my huge nose and cheeks! But that will go away once Cooper is here. Then last night I went to get a pedicure and manicure with some moms from my playgroup. It was very nice and relaxing. Now I have clean shaven legs, hair that is manageable and in good shape and my feet/toes/finger nails are all beautiful. I guess I could top it off with a massage, but I won't push it, I think I've spent enough for one day. I'll post pictures of my new hair soon.

Doctor's Appointment Update

Today I went to see my baby doctor. Cooper is still high and hasn't dropped at all. Dr. Webster is glad we already scheduled the c-section, because she doesn't see any way he will come on his own and if he did, I would not be able to deliver since my pelvic area is too small (that completely baffles me, have you seen my hips lately?). So, we are scheduled to meet baby Cooper on April 17, c-section is scheduled for 9:30am, Brian and I have to be there at 8:00am. So much nicer than with Isabella, we had to be at the hospital at 5am, glad we got a later slot for Cooper.

My doctor isn't willing to "take" Cooper before 39 weeks, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not ready. Mentally, physically, emotionally and the house is not ready. But the doctor did say if Cooper comes on his own, she would not stop it and if I ending up at the hospital to make sure I tell them to call her, she wants to be present for the c-section, (unless she's had too many margarita's, then she'll pass). I made sure that having my tubes tied was in my chart and that that would be done if she wasn't able to make it to the hospital, she assured me all would be taken care of.

The last thing she said before leaving the room was to make sure may bags were packed, just in case. That scared me, I'm really not ready. I need a few more weeks, he can't come until the 17th. So, I'm not going to pack that stupid bag until April 16th. Only time will tell.

New Body!!

OK, not mine. Brian has started to work out again. I can't tell you how happy I am about it. When we met 6 long years ago, Brian was in the gym every day and then would run most everyday when he got home. He had a HOT body! He was very healthy, felt great and the hot body to boot! Now, after being married nearly 5 years, well, let me say, you can tell he's married!!! That can be just that he's comfortable with me and doesn't need to impress any lady friends. OR that he is married and doesn't have the time. OR he just doesn't have the time. I'll bank on the third one. He is very motivate, maybe because he and I weight the same (don't make me go there!), but we are pounds from one another. I know, I'm 9.5 months pregnant (only 22 days to go!! WOOHOO!). I'm completely find with my weight, just as long as the doctor doesn't tell me I gained another 10 lbs this past 3 weeks, really, don't get me started. This is about Brian not me.

Brian has his fitness evaluation this past week, he was anxious to see where he was in fitness level. Well to surprise us all, he's in pretty good shape for a guy who doesn't work out on any kind of schedule. His body fat was something like 16, and when he was working out (many years ago, ref: HOT body) his body fat was like 9. So, yeah he's come along way, but he's in damn better shape then anyone thought. So, he's waking up early every day, going to the gym at work and then going to work. He's starting to eat better (thank GOD) and cutting out sodas! I can't wait to have this baby and be able to work out again with him. The "gym" we have in the house is collecting dust/cobwebs and I was just "this" close to putting it up on craigslist and getting rid of all that crap and making that room a play room for the kids. But he and I will start to use it again. I can't wait to have my HOT husband back and I know he CAN'T wait to have his Hot wife back too. Pregnancy put my body to shame!! I am really cute under this HUGE belly, really I am. And give me a few months and I'll prove it! Can't wait to have a waist again!!

So here's to getting fit, again! Finally! I'm proud of you Brian!

Measurements

I have been wondering how big around I am for weeks now and I just found my measuring tape. Oh wow, I'm huge. I am 46+ inches around. That is longer that my daughter is tall. And I have 3ish weeks left.

Skype anyone?

My really good friend, Amberly and her family moved to the Philippines in July and I have not talked to her on the phone (time is an issue) nor have I seen her except for pictures she post on her blog. So today I was reading her blog and she is wondering why all the people she loves don't have Skype's. We'll I'm no computer person and I had no clue what she was talking about. So I send Brian and email and asked him to make this Skype happen for me. Somehow you get a camera and put it on your computer and you can literally talk to the other person face to face, even better than on the phone!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!! I wish she would have confronted me/us before now. So Brian ordered me a camera and it should be here pretty quick (its from dell so I'm not holding my breath on the arrival time). I am so excited to actually get to see Amberly, Sam, Samuel, Sydney and Nicholas. OMG, I am so excited to hear Amberly's voice and chat with her and now that I'll be up in the middle of the night (nursing a new baby) I can just log on and she'll be awake and we can talk. I can't wait to get my new camera!! So Amberly, get ready, I'm getting Skype. Now you need to get moved and get better Internet service, we'll be all set!!!

Cooper's Room Finished

WOW, Sasha was really fast yesterday, she was here for 8 hours, but it went by really fast, IMO. The room looks fantastic. I can't wait to get the furniture all in the room and placed where it looks best and hang drapes and pictures on the walls. I am thrilled to have his room painted and ready to move into! Here are the pictures of baby Cooper Michael's room!!

Cooper's Room

Today, Sasha will be coming to get started (and maybe finished) on Cooper's mural. I couldn't sleep last night because I was so excited (among other reasons). Cooper's room is painted a pretty, interesting, blue. Sky blue, the name on the card was Tropical Pool. So think of that. I'll post progress pictures today (and maybe the finished product!) Sasha should be here any minute!!! YEAH!!!!

Thursday Fun

This week being spring break, my nephews and mom came over to go to the Allen Natatorium http://www.cityofallen.org/parks/natatorium.htm to swim for a few hours. Brian took off for the afternoon and I asked his sister Lisa and her two kids to join us. We had a really good time. Isabella is fearless, I've said it a million times. But it's scary around water! We swam for nearly 2 hours and we were all very tired. So we come to our neighborhood park and played for a few minutes and then home to eat. Isabella was so exhausted, she slept until after 9am this morning. Gotta love that!

Easter Dress

My mother bought Isabella a cute yellow Easter dress this weekend. Mom showed Isabella her dress with the pretty flowers on it. She loved it. I washed it last night and put it on the back of the couch (where I sort clothes) and this morning Isabella found her dress. She went nuts, "dress on, on, dress on" So she's wearing her Easter dress today, it's not even pressed, but she still looks adorable. Thanks mom, Isabella loves her dress and so do I!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today our neighborhood put on an Easter egg hunt for the neighborhood kiddos. It was a ton of fun. We walked to the pool/playground area for the egg hunt. When we arrived they were setting up the farm animal petting zoo. You would have thought Isabella was on cloud nine. She was not afraid of any of the animals, it was just completely animal overload. She loved holding, touching, chasing and kissing the animals. They had one week old goats, baby 3 day old piglets, big bunny and baby bunnies and big duck and baby chicks and a rooster. It was a germ fest. I am the one that took pictures and video of Isabella playing with all the animals. I'm very glad Brian went with us, I wouldn't have had so much fun picking the animals up and holding them for Isabella. The baby chicks pooped on Brian twice, I would have thrown up for sure!! Isabella was able to hunt for a few eggs and then back into the petting zoo she went. When we were ready to leave we walked to the new model home that just opened up Friday and looked around. Then we walked home. I was so sore. It had to be at least two miles we walked. I was so tired when we got home. It was nice to be able to walk it, but my feet are swollen and sore, because none of my shoes fit. Only 4 weeks and 3 days....

Taking a break from all the fun

Mini Van

So the other day, I confessed to Brian that I "understand why so many moms have mini vans" That is truly what I said. They are big, lower to the ground and hold all the things you'll ever need. And these days they come with everything you can think of. I didn't ever say I wanted one. Not once! But the other day Brian tells me he may be buying me one. WHAT THE HE%%! He has a friend that is looking for a used pilot and voiced this to Brian. Brian said he maybe looking to trade mine in, so why don't they do a deal. Oh, I could cry for opening my mouth. I do think it is a good idea, but when I confessed what Brian might do to my sister she told me "You have lost all coolness" I'm so say, I'll never be cool again! I love my pilot, it is so nice, very functional and a great ride. But with a double stroller, a toddler and an infant and all the things babies and toddlers need, I feel like I need something bigger. I keep trying to sike myself up for this transition, but I think Brian just needs to surprise me, like he did when he brought home the S2000, for him, the weekend of my birthday. Although, I never got to drive the S2000, it was still a wonderful surprise! I loved that car, I wish I could have learned how to drive a standard, I would have begged him to keep it. But he needed to trade it in for a baby friendly car when Isabella arrived. Oh, I dream about that beautiful car.... some day we will have another convertible, it may be 6-8 years from now, but we will and maybe I'll get my coolness back...

Double Baby Shower

My inlaws offered to throw my sister and I a joint/double baby shower. Since we are due 2 weeks apart, it will be perfect. Our invitatoins are adorable (except for the typo's). They went in the mail today, about a week late, but I'm not sweating it.

It is going to be nice to honor my sister and I, and the babies we are about to give birth to. I will only have 2 weeks left and Michelle will have 4 weeks left. I'm excited to just be able to see some old friends and family that we haven't see in a while. The gifts are just the icing on the cake.

Michelle and I did register, I'm just not sure what I really need. Sure I'm having a boy and the first was a girl. So mostly what I need are boy clothes and such, but I have been blessed by friends that have given me their baby boy clothes. I know I'm missing something, but with all the hand-me-downs, we're pretty set! Michelle on the other hand, she needs alot of help. So, I'm very glad "we" are having a shower.

March 29th is the day of our shower. I'll post picture after it. It will be wonderful!

Visit With Pop Paw

Isabella, Mom and I went to visit Pop & Elva in Weatherford on Wednesday. It was very nice to see Elva (Memaw). She was nice and seemed to know who I/we were. She looked good too. Pop was very surprised to see Isabella and I. Mom didn't tell him, she usually doesn't, just in case he or she gets confused or if I can't make it last minute. We visited for a few minutes at the nursing home Elva is at and then went to the farm. There is so much growth that direction, it always changes. The last time I was down there was just about a year ago. I feel ashamed that I stay at home and haven't see my grandfather in over a year. But I understand why my mom sometimes does not want me to go. Elva can sometimes have issues and not be herself, sometimes she's very tacky to mom/dad when they go to visit or take care of Pop.

While we were at the farm, Isabella had a hay day playing in the sand/dirt, leaves, water and chasing the cat. She was a hoot, tossing the sand up in the sky and it falling down all around her. She was covered head, toe and crack with sand. She went home in only a diaper. Here are a few pictures from our visit.
